The AeroTech® range of strobes is specifically designed to offer maximum visibility and features exceptional brightness for its size. This is achieved through a combination of precision reflectors, advanced optics and high-power LEDs, as well as an elegant and distinctive design that enhances visibility.
AeroTech® strobes are designed to create smooth, highly visible rotation patterns suitable for all civilian applications. Unlike most strobes on the market, the rotation patterns of all three sizes of AeroTech® strobes exceed SAE Class 1 standards.
Their aerodynamic trilobular shape promotes smoother airflow around the strobes, reducing drag by up to 60% compared to round strobes. This translates into less wind noise when driving at high speeds compared with round strobes.
In terms of durability, the strobes are hermetically sealed against water and dust using an ultrasonic welding process (IP67 protection rating). Their polycarbonate bases are both lightweight and virtually unbreakable compared to die-cast bases. The polycarbonate lenses use a special UV-resistant material called Makrolon 2607, which is also virtually unbreakable. What's more, AeroTech® strobes feature solid-state circuitry, eliminating moving parts and mechanical failure. This attention to detail allows Vision X to offer a 7-year warranty. These strobes are truly designed for long life.
Because of their extreme brightness, AeroTech® strobes have a built-in light sensor that automatically adjusts the strobe between high and low power modes. This avoids causing glare to other drivers and road workers at night or in low light conditions. In addition, the AeroTech® range has a switch wire that allows manual selection of day/night mode, offering greater flexibility of use.
