In addition, their aerodynamic trilobular shape allows for smoother airflow, reducing drag by up to 60% compared to round-shaped strobes. They are also sealed against water and dust by ultrasonic welding (IP67 rating) and feature solid-state circuitry for long life.
Because of their extreme brightness, AeroTech® strobes have a built-in light sensor that automatically adjusts the strobe between high and low power modes.
