Red position lights
Red marker lights are essential safety features for all types of vehicle. They are located at the rear of the vehicle and are permanently switched on while driving. Red marker lights enable other drivers to see the vehicle clearly, even in conditions of poor visibility, such as at night or in fog.
Red marker lights are also compulsory on public service vehicles, such as lorries, buses and emergency vehicles, to signal their presence to other road users.
